Daisy Caring Hands

Mrs. Ruth McRae is the Owner and Administrator of Daisy Caring Hands Assisted Living, LLC. Located in Taylor, Michigan, she is the founder, alongside with her loving and supportive husband of 34 wonderful years, Philip McRae. Together, they have two beautiful children: Angelica (Orrice Jr., husband) and Philip II (Crystal, wife) and two grandsons: Ezra and Judah Tahj.

 

Mrs. McRae and her family attend The International Church of Metro Detroit, located in Wayne, Michigan. She is very active as the Prayer Ministry Director, Director of the 200 Core VIP Club, Coordinator of the Food Pantry Community Outreach, member of the Senior Silver and Gold Ministry and member of the Global Missions Outreach Team.

 

Mrs. McRae graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a minor in Sociology in 1984. She has training as a Direct Care Worker from the State of Michigan and also in Traumatic Brain Injury and Alzheimer/Dementia. Mrs. McRae is certified in CPR/AED, first-aid, Entrepreneurship and Business Management.

 

Mrs. McRae has 30+ years of experience, working with individuals from ages infant to senior adults. She has served in various capacities and was once an Owner of an assisted living home in Inkster, MI for nine years, a Principal of a Private Christian School for 25 years, a Director of a State of Michigan licensed Preschool and Daycare Center for 23 years and an Administrator of the State of Michigan's adult medical training center for two years.
